GÜ COSY NIGHT IN PRIZE DRAW - FULL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
These terms and conditions apply to the Cosy Night In promotion described in these terms and prevail in the event of any conflict or inconsistency with any other communications, including advertising or promotional materials relating to the promotion.
Entry instructions form part of these terms and conditions and, by participating, all entrants will be deemed to have accepted and be bound by them.

1. Promoter and data controller
Gü Indulgent Foods Limited, Dunmow Road, Bishop's Stortford, Hertfordshire, CM23 5PA (the “Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
2.1 The promotion is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the date of entry, excluding employees of the Promoter and their immediate families, associated agents or anyone professionally connected with the promotion.
2.2 The Promoter may require reasonable proof of age and residence and reserves the right to verify eligibility; entries that fail verification will be disqualified.
3. Promotion Period
The promotion opens 00:01 (UK time) on 14 November 2025 and closes 23:59 (UK time) on 31January 2026. Entries received outside the promotional period will not be valid and will not be accepted.
4. How to Enter
4.1 Scan the QR code at fixture in Sainsbury’s stores and enter details on the website form at https://gudesserts.com/pages/cosy-night-in-competition.
4.2 Entrants are advised to take care when submitting an entry; the Promoter is not responsible for mistypes. typos or online forms which are incomplete or filled incorrectly. Only correctly submitted entries will be accepted.
4.3 No purchase is necessary to take part in the promotion.
5. Entry Limits
5.1 Only one entry per person during the promotional period will be accepted. A maximum of one prize per successful entrant may be awarded.
5.2 Anyone entering more frequently using multiple handsets, multiple identities or a computerised or automated system will be disqualified from the promotion.
5.3 Entrants who make an entry on someone else’s behalf may be disqualified at the Promoter’s discretion.
5.4 Incomplete, illegible, invalid, misdirected or late entries will not be accepted.
5.5 Entries (bulk or otherwise) made from trade, syndicates, consumer groups or third parties will not be accepted. Entrants reposting the same content multiple times or using multiple addresses, email addresses, numbers, or via agents, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer will not be accepted. Entries received by any means other than as specified in these terms will be rejected. Any person persistently trying to circumvent the entry process will be disqualified immediately.
6. Winner verification; Disqualification
6.1 The Promoter reserves the right to verify winning entries, including asking for proof of eligibility and compliance with these terms.
6.2 The Promoter also reserves the right to refuse to award a prize or withdraw the prize entitlement and/or refuse further participation in the promotion and disqualify a participant where there are reasonable grounds to believe there has been a breach of these terms and conditions or any instructions forming part of the entry requirements, or otherwise where a participant has gained unfair advantage in participating in the promotion or won using fraudulent means.
6.3 Winner selection is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into, except with the legitimate prize winners.
7. Prizes and Prize Conditions
7.1 There are five (5) prizes. Each prize package includes:

7.2 The gift card for Netflix is provided to the value of £25. Netflix may require acceptance of additional terms relating to the gift card. Such terms will be will be notified by Netflix at redemption. The Promoter bears no responsibility for the content of the terms or their acceptance by the winning entrant, Failure to accept the terms may result in an inability to use the gift card on the Netflix platform at the winning entrant’s sole discretion and responsibility.
7.3 The prize is as stated and no other prize alternatives are available except that, in the event of circumstances outside of its control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a similar prize of equal or greater value. The prizes are non-transferable and cannot be sold or auctioned. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, a prize will only be awarded directly to the entrant responsible for the email address against which the entry was registered.
8. Winner Selection
The winner will be selected at random by a computer process producing verifiably random results, or under the supervision of an independent person, within seven (7) days of the closing date.
9. Winner Notification; Fulfilment
9.1 The winner will be notified by the Promoter over email within twenty-eight (28) days of the closing date.
9.2 If the winner cannot be contacted, verified, or does not claim the prize within forty-eight (48) hours of notification, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and pick a replacement winner selected at the same time as the original draw.
9.3 Prizes will be dispatched within thirty (30) days of a valid claim to a UK address. Any costs or expenses not expressly stated as included are the winner’s responsibility.
10. Responsibility for Entries and Communications
The Promoter has no control over communication networks and is not liable for any problems associated with them due to traffic congestion, technical malfunction or otherwise. The Promoter will not be held liable to any individual for any fraud committed by any third party nor for any event beyond its control including, but not limited to, user error and any network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind which may restrict, delay or prevent a participant’s entry to the promotion.
11. Publicity
Winners may be asked by the Promoter to participate in reasonable further publicity relating to their winning of a prize, free of charge. The Promoter will contact prize winners prior to the intended publicity. A winner shall have the right to decline to participate in such publicity.
12. Winners’ Details
The surname and county of major prize winners will be available on request for thirty (30) days from the announcement date by emailing [contact]. Entrants may object to, or request reduction of, this information being made available; however, the Promoter will still provide the information and winning entry to the ASA on request.
13. Liability
Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter and its agents will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate entrants for any losses that may be incurred as a result of entering the promotion. The Promoter does not accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of a winner’s acceptance of a prize except where such damage, loss or personal injury is caused by the negligence of the Promoter or its agents, in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law. The winners’ statutory rights are not affected.
14. Third-Party Performance
The Promoter cannot be held responsible for the failure of any third party to fulfil its obligations in connection with this promotion, although the Promoter will endeavour to minimise the effect of such failure on the entrants.
15. Events Beyond Control; Changes
In the event of circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Promoter, or otherwise where fraud, abuse and/or an error (human or computer) affects or could affect the proper operation of this promotion or the awarding of the prizes, the Promoter reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend the promotion, replace a prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value, or amend these terms and conditions, at any stage, with no liability to any entrants or third parties, but will always endeavour to minimise the effect to participants in order to avoid undue disappointment.
16. Responsibility for Details
It is the responsibility of the entrant to provide correct, up-to-date details when entering the promotion and on prize acceptance. The Promoter cannot be held responsible if a winner does not receive their prize as a result of having provided incomplete or inaccurate name or address details.
17. Severability
If any of these clauses should be determined to be illegal, invalid or otherwise unenforceable then it shall be severed and deleted from these terms and conditions and the remaining clauses shall survive and remain in full force and effect.
18. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
If you live in the UK, these terms and conditions are subject to the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes must be referred to the English and Welsh courts unless you live in another part of the UK, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction
