EXTERNAL GRIEVANCE MECHANISM POLICY
Overview
At Gü Desserts, we are committed to operating responsibly and ethically. This policy provides a clear and accessible process for any individual, including employees, workers, contractors, communities and civil society, to raise concerns or complaints about our business activities. Concerns may relate to any technical, social, environmental, human rights or economic issue connected to our operations or supply chain.
How to Raise a Concern
Anyone can raise a grievance in any language, verbally or in writing through our independent, anonymous Safecall Hotline:
Telephone: 0800 915 1571

Anonymous reports are accepted, and all information will be treated confidentially.
If, after going through the above steps you feel your concerns remain unresolved and you feel appropriate action has not been taken, you should report the matter to the appropriate authority. The legislation sets out several bodies to which public interest disclosures may be made. These are as follows:
-
HM Revenue & Customs;
-
the Financial Conduct Authority;
-
the Competition and Markets Authority;
-
the Health and Safety Executive;
-
the Environment Agency;
-
the Independent Office for Police Conduct; and
-
the Serious Fraud Office.
Our Commitment
All grievances will be reviewed and investigated fairly and promptly. Where possible, we will keep the person or group who raised the concern informed of progress and outcomes. If an issue involves human or labour rights, we will follow the Rainforest Alliance Remediation Protocol to ensure appropriate action is taken to prevent, mitigate and remedy harm.
Data Protection
When you make a public interest disclosure, we will process any personal data collected in accordance with our data protection policy. Data collected from the point at which you make the report is held securely and accessed by, and disclosed to, individuals only for the purposes of dealing with the public interest disclosure.
